The Falkirk Wheel

Last week working in Scotland I took the opportunity to visit this amazing piece of machinery.  It is used to lower / raise boats from one canal to the other.  It was an awful evening just stopped raining for about half an hour.  For a closer look click on any of the images.

Flowers

Really just a record of the flowers from the funeral, flowers die so quickly.    Hazels grave wont ever be hard to find it.s less than 100yds from the Doherty grave (The King of the gypsys) I thought all graves had to conform to a certain size, obviously this doesn't apply to everyone as Mr Dohertys grave is massive compared to the rest surrounding it.

Also took the opportunity to visit the Lewis grave.

Having fun in the Garden

Probably not the best photographs I have ever taken, Blurred, movement, colours all wrong, but there is no such thing as the perfect photo only the perfect moment.  Thats why I think these photos, even with all their faults capture the spirit of the evening.  It was great to have some family over visiting from England and enjoying a bit of craic.  The two Girls would be cousins of Lorraine, Francis and Elizabeth.  The weather forecast wasn't good but it turned out to be a beautiful day and evening.

I would say some people who should know better suffered for this the following day!!!
