Laraines big BBQ

Last night we had a great night of fun and Craic at Laraine & Jim's. Even though it had rained all day it cleared and we were able to eat outside in comfort. We later played some games Uno and Jenga. It's hard to believe how much fun you can have with a few bits of wood and the right company. The reason for the BBQ was to celebrate the engagement of their daughter Laura to Daren.

The Big Night rounded off

The big night is all done and dusted. The Exhibition started of at around 7.30pm with a few speeches. There was a great turnout and with both theatres in use there were a lot of the general public there as well. The whole evening was rounded off for me by Winnie turning up. Winnie was very helpful and as two of my three images were off her it was very fitting that she should be there. Winnie has been on a year out in France and had just arrived home, so it was well timed. I was exhausted by the end of the evening having stood on one leg for most of it. Lorraine was a great help and we were well supported by family and friends.

Lorraine is on the mend and she has been very busy as you can see from the image below. I have lost count of the number of these she has finished over the last month.

New Z- One eyecare Catalogue

Just did a shoot for the latest Z-One Eyecare catalogue 09/10 range. Very pleased with the results. Simon is great at using the images within his design.

Making Progress

Lorraine's sister Lynn came down on Saturday to visit and help. About seventeen years ago she was away on a BB weekend with us and while playing Football in Donard Park broke her leg. I can remember the sound like it was yesterday (well last Monday night anyway). Her mother in Law made her a little hat to wear over her toes and she brought it down for me to wear. \what do you think???

The Irish Cup 2009

The crues had a 1 - 0 win over Cliftonville on Saturday to win the Irish Cup and bring it back to Seaview for the first time in 41 years.. Jonathan and Elaine where at Windsor Park to watch Mark Dickson strike the winning goal.
