Annual trip to Dublin

To -day was our Annual trip to Dublin with Emma & Muriel. It was a very cold day but we had lovely blue skies and the atmosphere in the City was great. As usual we visited numerous shops and had a lovely tea at our favourite Italian restaurant.
I took along my camera to try and capture some more images for my current Urban Life project, the main aim was to try and capture a sence of movement and drama in the images.

A walk in the Park

To-day Lorraine and Lynn gave me a hand trying out some flash techniques. We were at Hillsborough Park. The Autum colours are lovely at the moment.

Charity Train Shoot

Spent the day at White Head Railway Preservation society with some folk from Folio32. The train yard was full of history and interesting backdrops for photos. We were blessed with great weather, although it was a little cold for the models. Great day and a lot of fun. On the way home had to stop at the old school house as the setting sun made a dramatic backdrop among the clouds.

In and around Belfast

Lorraine and I were in Belfast this afternoon. Lorraine did some shopping and I had about 1 & 1/2 hours to get a few images, These are for my Urban Landscape project. Wanted to capture some movement. The town was fairly busy but the Christmas buzz is a long way off yet I think.

Autum Light

With the weather we have been having lately, winter is fast approaching. Even so every now and then the natural beauty of light stops me in my tracks. Just saw the light coming through the trees next door this afternoon and thought it looked beautiful.

You may remember that I posted a photo of this little girl last year here. She really is someone special, she is so confident and just loves to talk and show off. I had the opportunity to shoot her again and this is just one of the images. She hadn't changed a bit just as confident and happy as she was the last time.
