Another Birthday cake

Dad was 81 on Saturday, Elaine baked a very nice cake and the kids helped to blow out the candles.

Runher 2013

Last night the girls got a chance to show what they are made off.  Lorraine, Verdi and Lynn took part in the Runher Coastal Challenge.  A gruelling run/walk from Hollywood to Crawfordsburn.  Lorraine and Lynn walked and Verdi ran the route, and fair play put in a respectable time.

The run is used to raise money for various charities and raise awareness.  The girls chose to raise money for Cancer.  The participants come in all shapes and sizes and age groups.  It was a very enjoyable, well organised event and a beautiful night.

The winning time was just over 36 mins which is incredible.

The big Lads home

Terry had made an epic journey to New Zealand to spend some time with his brother Larry.
He had been away for 8 weeks, although we did get to see and hear him via the wonders of Apple Face time. His return was eagerly awaited.
In true Cadden family style we all went to George Best Airport to welcome him and Larry home.  Larry made the return trip and is spending some time with Terry and some family.

Good to get you back safe Terry.
