Not so Lucky

For those of you who berated me for holding the last Rabbit by the ears, I would imagine this little fellow would have been delighted to have been rescued by a similar method of extraction, alas too late for this chap. I would love to be able to say this one made it also but by this stage the cat (Ernie) had done the deed.

Lucky Rabbit

I was sitting at my desk working, when Lorraine let out one off those screams that means get here as quick as your broken leg will carry you.
Our cat Ernie brought this little fellow home, presumably for lunch but she let it go in the kitchen. Managed to catch it and Lorraine too a quick snap. The rabbit is easily 1/2 the size of the cat and she would have had to carry this from a field across a busy road. I took the rabbit back and let it go. One lucky rabbit I would say.
