Test Ride

Jt, Elaine and Lorraine took the new bike for a test ride to-day. a few times around the house was enough to do it. The bike has many off the old features including not so very good brakes.

A wonderful Christmas

This year Christmas was rather different. We had the pleasure of sharing Jonathan & Elaines first Christmas Dinner and it was first class. All the usual stuff, soup, turkey, ham, steak and all the trimmings. Elaine and Jonathan put on a feast fit for a king.

We went for a good walk in the afternoon and then headed to Lynns for the evening. we played the Annual game of Trivial pursuits and Jonathan, Elaine and Granny Hazel's team won the day, beating Verdi for the second year in a row.

Jack called over he got a remote control 4 X 4 for Christmas.

Lorraine got a bike, and old fashioned type, she has wanted one for years.

Christmas Day Service

Usually Billy gets one of the younger children to light the final advent candle, but this year Luke did the job!

Sunday Family Servuice

On The Sunday morning we had our Family service that included some very colourful people taking part. Billy decided to have a birthday party with all the usual trimmings, Harry seemed to be enjoying himself to!

Ballydown Carol Service

Over the weekend we have been running a series of events and here are some photos from two of the carol services, hope you like them. As I had other things to keep an eye on I could only get a few sgots.

Corbet Lake Sun Rise

Lorraine & I went for a walk yesterday morning and when we came home we witnessed the most wonderful sun rise. I went up to the Corbet lake not far from us and tried to capture what I was seeing on film ( well flash card actually). This was the scene around about 8.30am. I'm not pretending that these are wonderful photos but I think the colours are stunning.

Pensioners Christmas party

Its hard to believe that a year has passed from last years party. This year was a packed evening of song and dance, and as usual they know how to enjoy themselves. Guest appearances from AbbA and The Bay City Rollers.
