Wash Out

I had been looking forward to meeting up with a few fellow photographers from Photography Ireland. They were travelling from Cork, Donegal, Droheda, Dublin and Wicklow. We were to meet at 6.45am to capture the sunrise but the weather was very bad, visibility down to about 100 yds. I think this was the only photo taken. I only got two photos all day the two bellow, all the rest were spoiled by water drops on the lens. Good to meet all you guys.

Winnie shoot 2

I had another shoot with Winnie last night. I owe Winnie a debt of gratitude for her help as she is very patient and lets me try different lighting setups and ideas with no complaints.
She tried a different look this time and tied her hair up. Very pleased with these, more soon.

Winter sunrise

Woke up this morning to snow and a beautiful sky.

London

Well just back from our trip to London.  We had a great time and enjoyed some good craic together.  as usual we tried to pack to much into a short period of time.  We visited the Tower of London and that was a big surprise to me as it was much larger than I had imagined.  we also managed to go to a show "Buddy". The music and the show were uplifting to say the least.  we stayed in the Holiday inn Kings Cross and very nice it was, if a little far from the nearest tube station.
Saturday we did Harrods and Hamleys and then made our way back to Kings Cross.  But before we did we visited Pizza hut at Piccadilly circus.  I never have or ever will eat so much Pizza in one go.#
Lorraine caught a cold just before we left but she soldiered on none the less.
