Ballydown Annual trip to Dublin

Its amazing how quickly this trip comes around each year.

The weather was not kind to us this year as it rained for most of the day. Dublin was buzzing and a hive of activity. The lights on Grafton Street were wonderful as was Brown Thomas. There were a number of groups trying to raise money for charity with the Irish Army very vocal in their attempts. Lorraine, Emma, Muriel and myself enjoy this trip each year, not for the shopping but just the trip to Dublin and a chance to have a chat and time to catch up. The day always starts with Coffee or tea at the Avoca, just heard that they have opened in Belfast! need to check it out. The choir at the shopping centre as St Stephens Green were singing Christmas carols and I have to say they were very good.
